У міжнародних поштових відправленнях забороняється пересилати:
а) вогнепальну зброю і боєприпаси до неї, холодну зброю та інші предмети, спеціально призначені для нападу та оборони (кастети, стилети, балончики з рідиною паралітичної дії тощо), вибухові, легкозаймисті або інші небезпечні речовини, військове спорядження, якщо інше не передбачено законодавством;
б) наркотичні засоби, психотропні речовини, їх аналоги і прекурсори, включені Комітетом з контролю за наркотиками при МОЗ до переліку наркотичних засобів, психотропних речовин, їх аналогів і прекурсорів, що підлягають спеціальному контролю відповідно до законодавства, та радіоактивні речовини;
в) предмети непристойного та аморального змісту;
г) дозволи на право носіння зброї, трудові книжки, військові квитки, паспорти та інші документи, що посвідчують особу;
д) товари, експорт, яких здійснюється з порушенням прав інтелектуальної власності; предмети, які становлять національне, історичне або культурне надбання українського народу, що визначається відповідно до законів України; насіння і посадковий матеріал;харчові продукти тваринного походження без термічної обробки; живих тварин, крім бджіл, п'явок, гусениць тутового шовкопряда, паразитів та винищувачів шкідливих комах, призначених для дослідження цих комах, якими обмінюються офіційно визначені установи; предмети, ввезення яких заборонено до країн, визначених у Керівництві з приймання міжнародних поштових відправлень.
У міжнародних посилках, бандеролях, мішках "M" забороняється пересилать:
письмові повідомлення, що мають характер ділового і особистого листування, а також будь-яку кореспонденцію, яка не належить відправникам або адресатам (одержувачам), за винятком рахунків та описів вкладення.
У міжнародних бандеролях, мішках "M", дрібних пакетах та посилках забороняється пересилати документи та цінні папери.

Prohibitions for Shipping to Ukraine

1. In order to be admissible, the food items listed below must
(a) be packed by the manufacturer;
(b) conform to Ukraine's sanitary standards;
(c) be accompanied by a certificate of conformity which has been issued by the Ukrainian State Committee for Standardization and Measures or by a comparable regulatory authority in the country of origin;
(d) be addressed to an individual who is a resident of Ukraine;
(e) be shipped in quantities not to exceed 2 kilograms (4 pounds) when enclosed in a letter-post shipment; or
(f) be shipped in quantities not to exceed 10 kilograms (22 pounds) when enclosed in a parcel post package or an EMS item.
Meats, fish, shell fish, milk and dairy products, birds' eggs, natural honey, fruits and nuts, coffee, tea, spices, vegetables, grains, cereals, flour, fats and oils, animal and vegetable by-products, sugar, cocoa, and other processed foodstuffs.
2. Tobacco products are prohibited entry into Ukraine, unless the shipment is accompanied by a certificate or invoice which states that the quantity being sent does not exceed 200 cigarettes or 200 grams of other processed tobacco products.
3. Radios and mobile telephones for personal use may be sent to Ukraine, provided that the addressee has obtained prior authorization from the Ukrainian State Center of Radio Frequencies and Telecommunications Supervision. The Center is responsible for assigning radio frequencies and registering official authorization for the design, manufacture, and use of radio-electronic equipment. Customers who require additional information about the mailing of radio-electronic equipment to Ukraine should send their inquiries directly to the Center's headquarters in Kiev. 4. Prescription medicines for personal use may be sent to Ukraine in quantities that are necessary for a complete course of treatment, provided that the addressee has obtained prior authorization from the Ukrainian Ministry of Health.
5. Funeral urns admitted for import are authorized only upon presentation of the following documentation to Customs authorities: A death certificate or any other document confirming death, issued by a competent body; or a certificate declaring that the urn does not contain other articles that may not be imported into Ukraine.

Restrictions for Shipping to Ukraine

Agricultural products.
Articles of cultural value (works of art, collectors' pieces, and antiques).
Coins; banknotes; currency; securities of any kind payable to bearer; traveler's checks; platinum, gold, and silver (manufactured or not); precious stones; jewelry; and other valuable articles are prohibited.
Medicines and medicinal products.
Passports and personal identity cards are prohibited entry in all classes of mail, including EMS shipments.
Prescription narcotics and psychotropic drugs which have potentially addictive or hallucinogenic effects.
